Google launched a new service called What Do You Love. This is a simple search box, similar to the Google home page, but returns the results of more than 20 different Google services, like Translate, Trends, YouTube, Google Maps and Google Groups. Google does not have a lack of services on the Web Google’s new interface is called WDYL – or “What Do You love?” – The new service puts together a series of search results using Google search through several of the Google services and presents the search results in one place.

The search results are presented in small boxes that can be extended, in some cases by clicking the icon at the bottom right. If you still need more results, you can always click on the button at the top right of the box and go directly to the selected service. The search results present the searches performed from the various Google services, such as a sketch-ups, image search results, trends, books, and so on. In addition to offering a preview of what you’ll find in different services the WDYL interface provides a connection to the search results as well from the different service.

The concept reminds Local Find of the iGoogle service which allows you to add simple applications for your personal portal view. What do you like, however, immediately creates a mini portal on any word you choose, making it an attractive option for users who do not have time to play with the settings and just want to have access to the many Google services presented on one page.

The service which can be found at www.wdyl.com and google.com/whatdoyoulove, bears the mark of Google, but the webpage contains very little explanation, and has not yet been announced any official Google blog.
